CHELSEA ROOF TERRACES
A sheltered contemporary space across two levels was created
on top of this three-storey house.
As an alternative to decking, green slate was laid over new
asphalt roofing by a specialist wet room tiler.
Slatted cedar screens and large planters of Cypress and Escallonia
hedging with Lavender, Rosemary and Teucrium provide protection
and privacy. A custom built galvanized spiral stair links
the terraces, gaining space on the lower level. |
