WAREHOUSE COURTYARD WEST LONDON
Posted in London gardens, Private commissions
Commissioned by Architect Tom Bartlett of Waldo Works to create an outdoor gallery of sculptural planters and ornamental plants for this converted warehouse.
With LED uplighters, shadows play by day and night on the light resin bound gravel and cedar cladding, and winter branches form a sculptural filigree.
In autumn, the Purple Smoke Bush, Amelanchier, Parrotia trees and Pheasant Grasess pick up the warm tones of the brick and cedar against the glazing and gun metal cladding.
Spring Green and Queen of the Night Tulips and Allium Purple Sensation bring colour and a light touch to what was an industrial site.
