Emma was commissioned to redesign the atrium courtyard for a multi-national headquarters in Westminster.

Working in conjunction with MCM Architecture who renovated the offices, Emma’s design is the focal point at the entrance and forms the heart of the building.

The bold contemporary design features a giant organic shaped corten steel planter which was custom made near Glasgow.  These tones are repeated in the mature Birch trees and giant stem Bamboos which soften the awkward triangular space.  These are both uplit and ‘moon’ lit to allow views from the street and the offices above.  The simple gravel surface has been stabilised so that it can be comfortably walked on, even in high heels.
