Emma was commissioned to create this new communal garden in Brook Green, one of Hammersmith’s most prestigious squares.

The residents purchased part of the large garden which previously belonged to the HQ of an international NGO.

Emma prepared the masterplan allowing the garden to be used by children, adults and dogs for play and relaxation.  She specified and oversaw treework to allow access from individual gardens, replace an oversized conifer and to maintain a magnificent Magnolia with a TPO.   Landscaping by a local contractor included the restoration and creation of openings in the original brick boundary walls with gates and a pergola commissioned and installed by a specialist.  Given the number of users and and its Conservation Area designation this was a complex but exciting project.
